Itinerary:
Meander to Bloom

Tulip Festival 2023

1

Grab a coffee at Wild Oak Cafe

Day-trip detours require energy! Pop into Armstrong’s The Wild Oak Cafe for coffees and teas, sandwiches or speciality drinks (ask for the Tulip Latte!) to start the day off right.

2

Drive The Barn Quilt Trail

Weave your way along the North Okanagan Shuswap Barn Quilt Trail, BC’s first trail of this kind. Check the map and be on the look out for pretty painted quilt block squares on farm houses and buildings as you go.

3

Visit the Bloom Flower Festival

Our festival features a glorious array of more than 20 different varieties of stunning tulips. Admire or photograph, pick or buy them, and enjoy beautiful blooms as far as the eye can see. Tickets will sell out. Get yours now!

4

Eat a late lunch at The Overlander restaurant

Located on the grounds of the Overlander Golf & Events Centre, this lovely restaurant and patio is sure to satisfy those who’ve worked up an appetite in the flower fields, with its filling and unfussy fare.

5

Antiquing and shopping downtown

Before heading back home, don’t forget to check out Armstrong’s main streets for thrift stores and antique shops, local artisans, clothing, gifts and second-hand finds.
